A peek into my world of humour
Welcome to my collection of comic offerings. For many years, Avalina honed her humorous writing skills by creating comic strips on Pixton.com, a vibrant community where many talented writers tested their funny bones. It was a shame when the format ended due to the cessation of Flash-based software on the web, but the memories and the laughter live on in the comic strips.

She has several different series that she thoroughly enjoyed making.

Covid lockdown on a remote island...
Murray's concerns: A community's chuckle
One particular comic series holds a special place in my heart, started during the challenging COVID lockdown. It's called 'Murray's Concerns', and it features comic strip versions of real people who lived on the same remote island as me. The island community embraced this series immensely, finding joy in seeing people they knew brought to life in a humorous way.
A tribute to real-life characters
Sadly, Murray Cooper passed away in 2024. However, he genuinely enjoyed the comics, and both he and another character, Felix, even helped me make a video of the comic strips, lending their voices to their respective characters. These comics are more than just humour; they are a testament to shared experiences and the power of community.
